Great villa and staff. We rented a villa on the second line, but was upgraded to a room on the first line by the ocean, it was incredibly kind. The villa itself is amazing, incredible terrace with a view of the sunset ocean, comfortable bed, good repair, the kitchen is well equipped, but keep in mind that if you are going to cook, you also need to bring basic products like salt with you. This villa combined with the beauty of the island definitely deserves to come back here again. Thank you <3

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Aldeia da Cuada and felt right at home every time we returned from a long day exploring the magical island of Flores. This truly hidden gem in the middle of the Atlantic is an old 17th-century village abandoned in the 1960s and lovingly restored by its owners. The traditional cobblestone houses offer breathtaking views of the ocean, mountains, and waterfalls, creating an atmosphere of pure tranquility. It’s just a 5-minute drive to one of the island’s most famous and enchanting spots, Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro. Aldeia da Cuada has everything you need to feel like you’ve stepped into a Tolkien fairy tale. An exceptional location—so much more than just a hotel! The warm pool, cozy houses, comfortable beds, and the best breakfasts with incredible variety made our stay unforgettable. The restaurant serves delicious, flavorful, and fresh food, clearly prepared with love. Considering the limited availability of products on the island (as seen in the half-empty supermarket shelves), the dining experience felt like stepping into a Michelin-starred establishment. The staff was amazing—attentive, friendly, and delivering top-notch service that truly impressed us. Goreti is an absolutely amazing host who made us feel so welcome. To top it all off, when our flight was canceled, we spent another perfect day at the hotel, making an unexpected situation feel like a gift.

Sítio da Assumada offers accommodation in Lajes das Flores, a 3-minute walk from the beach. Free private parking is available on site. Every room has a flat-screen TV. Located in beautiful soundings, quiet with a private garden. The place is very clean and has great wifi and very comfy beds and is close to trails and waterfalls. The owner Ricardo was friendly and provided a lot of useful information about the island and he was always available to help.

What a beautiful and clean place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by the family and truly felt right at home. They are incredibly hospitable and happy to help if needed. We had a wonderful time and felt completely relaxed. A special thanks as well to your lovely daughter for the beautiful drawing of the boat — we’re definitely taking it back with us to the Netherlands!

It’s so well equipped and the views are insane. Carlos at the property was the sweetest soul, super helpful and was always happy to help us with anything we needed. I wish we could have stayed longer.
