Menawarkan pemandangan taman, San Simian Lodge di La Laguna mempunyai penginapan, taman, teres,restoran, bar dan kemudahan sukan air. This place is a DREAM. We have visited Laguna de Apoyo a few times in the past, and have stayed in different hotels. San Simian was a lot better than the others. It had access to everything we needed, AND it was a lot more quiet, it had lots of shade and beautiful gardens. There is a hike to the Catarina Mirador 100 m away from the hotel, which was a bonus. You wake up every morning with the sounds of monkeys, birds, squirrels and a beautiful view of the water. You can order a coffee thermos and have it ready for you when you wake up in the morning, before breakfast, so you can enjoy it in your room or in the hammock outside your room, or by the lake. The shower in the cabin we stayed in was open concept. What a lovely experience to take a shower under the stars! There is always warm water, which is a plus in Nicaragua The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Daniel, the server is always ready to help with whatever you need. Daniel, the owner is amazing, He has lots of great information about the area, and about other places to stay in Nicaragua. He is always making sure that you are well taken care of, and he takes great care of his staff. We are already planning out next stay at San Simian. Can't recommend it enough!

It was great, even so my Spanish ain’t great the host was super friendly and like to talk and help wherever he could. The house is amazing, it’s a family house, spacious and you feel like being a friend at someone’s home and not stranger in a hotel!

La Casa de Leo - Hostal, Restaurante y Artesania local terletak di San Juan de Oriente, 1.9km dari Mirador de Catarina dan 14km dari Volcan Mombacho. Breakfasts made by Yanet were excellent and different each day with fruits, eggs, rice and beans (gallo pinto) and coffee. The core family (Hébert, Yanet and their son Lester) with whom I dealt with everyday are truly genuine people, they have helped me 200% with research on land/houses in that area (my goal when I visited Nicaragua), We had excellent conversations, like I never had in other Latin countries, all in all if you want to understand this amazing country more and you speak Spanish, you will learn a lot. Also, members of the family are master potters, they have a small studio downstairs where you can buy their work and also, very recently, take a ceramics course on site. Don't forget to ask them who is 'Leo'

The hotel was set in large landscaped grounds with the rooms spaced apart from each other. There was a swimming pool with a bar area and a restaurant. The room was very luxurious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Casita café is beautiful with a small kitchen that had everything we needed. It was very quiet and we could only hear birds, trees and the sound of the lagoon. We had a pleasant night sitting on the deck and we watched a wonderful full moon that lightened the lagoon. I truly loved this place, I wish we had more time to stay another two nights. Benjamin is a great host, very responsive and was always available to reply to any of my questions. Miguel and Marta were also great and very polite. The dogs in the property are very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the view was delightful.

The decor, the vibrant colours, I felt the hard work and soul that had been put into creating this wonderful establishment. Bella is an amazing hostess. Fantastic in communication, and so friendly. I asked if she had any eggs by chance, and she rushed off and came back instantly with 15 eggs for me 😆, a very kind spirit. Thanks again Bella 😊
