Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. The best hotel I stayed in while in Sri Lanka. Higher standard than other locations across the country within the same price range. Very clean, well maintained, big variety of food offered. Airco, hangers, place to put your bag, side bed light. I also got to see some animals just in front of my room. Hosts are very helpful but not intrusive and speak very good English (and some German) and have a great sense of humor. Some power outrages (normal in Sri Lanka) but they have a generator so no problem. The outdoor pool with the jacuzzi is almost ready :)

We enjoyed everything about it. It was quiet and so peaceful. The room was clean and well maintained. Everyone on the staff was top notch. They were helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka!

After changing our plans and coming to Udawalawe a night earlier than planned (and in need of some luxury), this place was exactly what we needed. The hosts were so friendly, the buffet dinner was delicious and great value and the swimming pool was amazing. They organise safari for us with easy and served breakfast on return. The rooms were well sized and comfy. Would 100% Recommend!

The safari offered by Dushan from the accomodation was the best! We saw everything, he is so knowledgeable about everything, he found the best spot for us, including the traditional Sir Lanka lunch with an outstanding view of the lake. They found the best options for our transportation and the room is perfect to relax after an exciting day!

There were so many choices for a place to stay for a safari but this one is the perfect one! Very calm place surrounded by nature, very clean and delicious local food! They arranged the half day safari for us with a breakfast in a private place in the park which was great! The family is the most adorable, we really felt home! We even had the opportunity to learn how to cook sri lankan with them😍 The son is the one who imagined and created the cottage which makes it even a better place. They give all their heart to it! We were sad leaving this place! Thank you for everything & we hope to come back to see you all soon!

He built all these houses by himself and tried his best to make you comfortable. Welcome fresh juice on arrival. The house is simple but made with care and the bed was huge and comfortable. The dinner was delicious. Also we suggest to book a safari with the owner.

This is a great stop of for visiting the nearby safari. Everything was great. A real family atmosphere where everyone tries to make your stay as memorable as possible. They arranged a Valentines surprise for us, a cooking course which was incredible and thorough and also a great safari. Lovely big cool room too. Wonderful value too.
