The location is also good - even though it’s a bit far from the ruins, the way to it is by the lake, which makes up for it! Thank you very much!

The reason to come here is that front porch. The rest of the cabin is small but functional. Give yourself a few hours to stay there and watch the animals of the lake. We were braced for clouds of insects, but there weren't many, maybe we got lucky. We also went for the morning lake tour which was fantastic. Excellent breakfast as well. The host was really helpful and easy to get ahold of.

I truly enjoyed my freedom here, and this stay has become one of the most unforgettable journeys I've had. The house is in the nature and very close to the temples. We had great discussions about the country and got to learn more about Sri Lankan. Our host made us an amazing rice and curry and we went on a night walk to see wild animals. We have been able to rent great bikes to visite the temples. I really recommend!
