Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. What a wonderful hotel. Everything was spotless and well designed. The view of Lake Mývatn was just awesome from the bar and the restaurant. Best location possible. Wish we could have stayed much longer. Will use this hotel again on my next visit. Food in the restaurant was very good both diner and breakfast. Bonus was seeing the northern lights dance above the lava fields surrounding the hotel.

Beautiful, designer and new accommodation. Very tastefully decorated. Whoever furnished this apartment really thought about every detail of functionality. The washer and dryer was the main reason for choosing this accommodation. But we literally loved everything this apartment had to offer. We will definitely come back here next time. Thank you very much!

Ingvar, our host is very quick to respond to my queries and very informative. His home is beautifully set up. Everything we needed was provided. Wifi is excellent. Bunos that there's a laundry ( both washer & dryer) available. Our room was spacious & clean. Whole house was clean. Such a shame we were only there for 1 night. Would've loved to enjoy more of the view whilst having a meal. Hopefully we can come back again.
