The hotel is in the middle of the jungle which makes it really beautiful. You can explore everything by kayak (they are free), there is a swimming platform in the river and there are a lot of hammocks and seating areas in the hotel to just enojoy yourself. Although it's remote you can easily reach the town of rio dulce by boat which the hotel staff can arrange for you. The staff is really friendly and helpful - knowing spanish makes your life a lot easier, but some speak english or even german. You can get everything from water to food at the hotel. The rooms and the bathroom were very clean, there are mosquito nets over the beds and the fan is really powerful. Very good value for money!

The building is very nice and well maintained. The staff is very helpful. Enrique is the best. The menu is simple but suitable for a few days. Rio Dulce is a 5-minute boat ride away. The sunset is amazing.

I only stayed for one night but thought it was great, short walk to bus station and main road of Rio Dulce. Lovely breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable chill out area. No complaints.

It is noisy die to the road but if you live in the city it is the same amount of noise. We were so tired from our trip from Mexico city and went straight to Rio dulce it was easy for us to fall a sleep Also pick up (collectivo/public boat) from the hotel to Livingstone and other river lodges

Hotel Kangaroo y Restaurante mempunyai taman, ruang tamu berkongsi, restoran dan bar di Rio Dulce. Beautiful and cosy wooden houses on the river with good restaurant and helpful owners. Their lancia transport to the hotel is very efficient - they pick you up on hour in public lancia port by the bridge. They have kayaks for rent and its close to row to the fort. Very nice place to enjoy the river!
