I was also picked up from the bus station for free, and there is a hot water shower there. I had two fans in my room and the bed was comfortable. The wifi was also a lot better than I expected for Lanquin

His home is huge with a very forest lodge feel. His parents were super kind and his mom made us an amazing breakfast! We loved our stay here and give it our highest recommendation!

While the owners were out of town during our visit, Carlos stepped in and did an outstanding job taking care of everything in their absence. Both Carlos and the owners maintained excellent communication, ensuring all our needs were met promptly. A special highlight was the delicious meals prepared daily by Chona, Carlos’s wife. Both breakfast and dinner were home-cooked and absolutely delightful—a real treat that made our stay even more special. Getting to the cabin is an adventure in itself, but well worth it! Nestled in a charming indigenous village surrounded by the woods, the location offers a unique cultural experience. Watching the locals walk by to their homes added an authentic touch to our stay. If you’re looking for stunning views, warm hospitality, and a one-of-a-kind cultural experience, we highly recommend Mountain Nest. It’s a true hidden gem!
