Our host, Mick, could not have been any more pleasant during our stay. He is a mine of information about the local area, and indeed the island in general. Morning breakfast was a lovely selection of locally sourced foods, served up in the communal lounge area next to each of our rooms. Following this up with a good walk in the hillside next to the accomodation, with the route advised by Mick as one that not many of the locals get to see.

Exceptionally well fitted out apartment with lovely harbour views. Very pleased with the way our breakfast appeared in the kitchen each day, with raspberries, blueberries, yogurt, milk and juice in the fridge and cereal bread or pastries nearby.

I originally booked a courtyard room but decided to upgrade to a sea view room, we got one on the 2nd floor. We were greeted by the reception staff who told us about a few things like where the restaurant was. On entering our room I was very surprised by the size, it had double aspect windows one to a courtyard the other to a panoramic view of Douglas bay. The room itself was of superior quality, mood lighting to bedroom and bathroom, a sofa in the window, 2 armchairs facing the TV. Complimentary soft drinks, crisps and chocolate in the fridge, even a corkscrew next to the kettle. There was even 2 dressing gowns and slippers in the wardrobe. The breakfast was included as was cereals and continental breakfast and full hot breakfasts. You can also book an evening meal in their restaurant and they have a bar for drinks. Excellent friendly service from all the staff too. Brilliant location also close to shops, bars and restaurants. Will definitely be booking here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful, spacious room, with very comfy bed, and all spotlessly clean! Delicious generous breakfast, and a fantastic host who was so friendly and generous with his time and recommendations on places to go/things to do. A brilliant location for walks, public transport, eating out etc. All round a perfect spot! 10/10!

Ideally located right in the sea front in Douglas, Isle of Man’s capital, Cubbon House offers bed and breakfast accommodation, en suite guest rooms and free WiFi. Perfect location, super friendly and helpful owners, great breakfast, I’d come back anytime I am in IOM again, highly reccomended

Very good communication Key pickup was simple Email & phoned me to make sure all was okay Spotless entrance & stairwell Light & airy Apartment was bright Super clean Tv all channels Bedroom nice clean bedding Clean Fluffy white towels Next to traffic light junction But that did not disturb me - stayed On a SUN & MON
