The hotel territory is a huge garden with paved paths and only 11 bungalow rooms. Everything is very clean, neat and tastefully decorated. There’s a nice restaurant opened for breakfast and dinner. During the day the hotel can organize a horseback riding or an ATV experience. A definite recommendation!

Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. Our stay here was even better than expected! The entire experience exceeded our hopes, starting with the excellent food, the location, the outside area . the garden is full of hummingbirds 😊 What truly stood out was the cleanliness of the place. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. A big thank you to the ladies who cleaned the rooms — they were kind, efficient, and always had a smile on their faces. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. A special mention must go to Fabricio at reception, who was without a doubt the best receptionist we've ever met. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of, helping with everything from local tips to making sure our needs were met. His professionalism and friendliness truly made a difference. We would gladly return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

Wonderful stay at this gem of a hotel in beautiful La Fortuna. We loved everything about this place. For the price, it can’t be beat.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. Amazing place, we'll definitely want to visit again. So beautiful and the hot springs were gorgeous. We stayed there for almost 3 weeks with our 1 year old baby. Some of the pools were chlorine free which was perfect for us and for the baby. The pools were all in different temperature so we could easily find a fitting one for our baby. The restaurant was great with some vegan options, affordable prices just slightly more expansive than downtown. The staff was so kind, they even bought our baby a birthday gift for his one year old celebration. Little souvenirs shop with cute things. One of the best views to the volcano. Comfortable beds. Plenty of storage place. Warmly recommended! Either with your partner, children or just even for a day entry to the hot springs. Set in lush tropical gardens, at the foot of Costa Rica’s Arenal the Volcano Lodge, Hotel & Thermal Experience offers an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi zone. Air-conditioned rooms have a terrace. Got the thermal suite at a super good deal on Booking.com and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The private thermal pool was just amazing - soothes our tired legs after all the hiking. But even if you don't get the suite, you can still enjoy the public thermal pools which looks great too. Bed was ok, wifi was strong enough to stream videos. Their restaurant serves yummy food - the shrimp risotto is to die for!
