They also recommended Alex the guide who took me out to lake Tarapoto, the sloth island, an excellent night walk and to a local village all for an excellent price. Even with him only speaking Spanish and my grasp of the language being very little, we still had excellent conversation and he was great company. Would highly recommend this Refugio Maiku Puerto Nariño as a place from which to launch your Amazon adventures.

We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Meals were good. What we liked the most are tours they offer. Specially the Peru one was great. They really take time and show you everything.
