Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

Mr. Casey was very helpful to us after booking the homestay. We ask for pick up at train station and JDSM/Shangrila tour bookings. Everything is managed by the guesthouse. The homestay is in Lijiang old town and the halal eateries are just a 5-minute walk away and close at 6pm. For dinner, please walk to the main road to the halal shop on the main road. From halal eateries the main road to the big water wheel has to walk for 15 minutes from the guesthouse. Thank you Mr Casey and team guesthouse.

The rooms were immaculate! Very cosy and comfortable stay, and the staff were fantastic. They made you feel at home and looked after you every step of the way. Cassie was amazing and helped us with tours, travel info, rides, and food recommendations. 100% will stay again if we are ever back in Lijiang

The courtyard is cute, the roomwas very confortable and they did us the loundry. The service helped us and they were kind. We recomend it!

Super cozy place, both the private room and dorms (tried both). In a quiet alley in the old town, serves good and fairly priced food and most of all very accommodating owners - helping and giving advice and also really nice to just talk with them. Would always book here when I’m in Shangri La.

Terletak di Dali, 4.6km dari Guanyin Hollow, Blue Sea Hotel menawarkan penginapan dengan lounge berkongsi, tempat parking peribadi percuma, teres dan restoran. The owner really looked after us well. Our stay was extremely comfortable. We booked the room with two beds and it was spacious and clean. They provide simple breakfast, it was yummy and homely. Location was superb, close to bike hire and China's tuktuk. We rented bikes based on the owner's recommendation for two consecutive days with great value. Two adult bikes and two kids bikes. The only thing I will note is that the shower does not drain quickly enough (so it pools), but this is very minor and did not impact our experience at all. At first glance, we thought it would be difficult to get food. But this is not the case. There are many eateries available within a short walking distance. Download Amap and search for restaurants near me and you will find hidden gems. One of which passion fruit fish.
