I have to start from words “I don’t have enough words” to explain how amazing was our stay in this lovely place. So, I will try. Manager and owner Kate very nice and kind person. She helped us to make reservations for many attractions. Also she always been in touch with us, provided information about interesting spots, food places, tickets etc. Big bonus - Kate can speak English very well. Kate’s mom had cooked breakfast and lunch for us and it was really amazing, I literally felt in love with simple homemade Chinese food thanks to her 😍 Location is very good. Very quiet at night. And the same time just few steps away from ferry, then a couple of minutes by boat and you are in the middle of hustle and bustle West Street. Guest house itself is very nice, reception is interesting decorated. Washing machine and free detergent are available on the roof top. Free water bottles at the reception. Rooms and bathrooms are big. We had balcony room and the river view was great. So, I definitely can recommend to book this place. You will never regret for sure. Thank you again Kate! Menawarkan taman, restoran dan pemandangan gunung, Serene Vale Inn Railway station free pick-up by 2 nights English and Spanish reception available terletak di Guilin, 13-minit berjalan kaki dari Gua... It was a perfectly organized stay. We messaged the property via booking.com to get a transfer from train station and tours to Longji rice terraces and Li Cruise organized. Everything was duly noted and executed. We were picked up by the driver at the train station (it was a free pick-up included in the price because we stayed for 3 nights). Next day the driver took us to the docks and handed tickets for the Li Cruise. The other day English-speaking driver Peter picked us up and we drove to the Longji rice terraces. Before going to the terraces we cooked a bamboo rice and visited minority village. Also we had one more free day when we arrived, and the receptionist showed us the points of interest to visit in Guilin (lake with Pagoda twin towers, elephant trunk park, etc.). The staff does not speak any English but we were able to communicate fluently via WeChat (there is a built-in translator there), Google translate and other translator apps. So in general we had no communication issues.

We had a very pleasant and great time in Longji Terrace La vie Inn. The hotel is just a 5 minutes walk away from the parking lot. The staff is most helpful and very friendly. The communication with the staff is great and they help in any way they can. The view out of the balcony is breathtaking. We even had breakfast and lunch in the hotel, it tasted delicious! We can just recommend it!

Very nice location, surrounded by nature; super friendly and helpful staff who helped us book tickets and arrange transportation; clean room with nice interior; homemade breakfast.

Lakeside Inn Guilin Central has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Guilin. The owner David is very helpful he booked all my activities and airport drop off for me and event drop and pick me up from the night cruise. The place is very convenient and I walked to Elephant Hill Park before heading to the airport in the morning. They provided me with late dinner and early breakfast as needed. I really appreciate all he did for me!

Set just about a 5-minute drive from Reed Flute Cave, 2 km from the centre of Guilin City, The Beyond Villa Guilin Boutique Hotel sits close to Taohua River and is surrounded by greenery and silence... An excellent place to stay with character in the small Lujiacun village near Guilin. About a 10 minute DiDi ride into the city center. The rooms were spacious and elegantly designed. It’s not the Hyatt, so please know that you are getting a charming B&B-style stay in a quiet village. The village has a lot of character, with hanging sausages and tofu stalls around, quite different from the city. The innkeepers are very friendly and helped us to book Li River cruises. They are very responsive and provided access to their kitchen and gave extra teacups for my family. Breakfast was provided as 3 options (2 western style options and 1 option of Guilin rice noodles). Overall, an excellent and comfortable stay in a quiet village, away from the hustle and bustle, while getting a cultural experience as an international tourist.
