The location is excellent if you want to visit the ruins of Xanantunich, take tours to the caves or do other activities. It is also possible to organize bird watching tours as well as other activities from the hotel. The owner Dominique is a great host who takes time to talk to each guest and make them feel like at home. We really valued his tips as well as insights about Belize. The ranch where the hotel is located is absolutely beautiful, full of lush trees and vegetation. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, delicious breakfast was included in our rate. Of course you have to remember that you are in the middle of the jungle and at times it may get a bit humid but overall our stay was comfortable.

We had such a wonderful stay at Las haciendas. Our room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and very well equipped — everything we needed to relax after a day of adventures. The highlight was definitely the pool; it was beautiful and refreshing, the perfect way to end the day while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, making us feel right at home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Ignacio.

This property and caretaker David just were above and beyond what we could have hoped for! What a beautiful house with all the amenities just minutes from town. Howler monkeys and plenty of birds made every morning memorable. I have never seen such detail and thought go into the decor and feel of each room. We felt at home here and will be back.

The location was great, very easy to get to local restaurants and shops, and also very handy for the Mayan attractions nearby. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended!
