Excellent location along the River. About 5min walk into the old town. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is small so it never felt like people were around. Room and bathroom were both excellent, good size. We enjoyed breakfast more than other hotels with optional indoor or outdoor eating. The chef made fresh eggs or pancakes, plenty of fruit, pasties etc. They also have barista coffee. We would definitely return.

The breakfast buffet was excellent and provided a wide variety of local and western food. The rest of the menu was also great. I had the opportunity to use the spa, which was also excellent.

Everything. Great breakfast. We had a nice room with balcony. From the balcony we heard the noise from a bridge but in the room it was absolutely quiet. The pool is big enough to swim some lanes and the gym is spacious compared to other hotel gyms. The garden with the lanterns is very pretty. The location is great. With the bikes from the hotel we made a tour to the quieter side. But within few minutes we walked to the old town and the night market. The staff ist very nice and helpful.

Comfortable Accommodations: Odyssey Hotel in Hoi An offers family rooms with air-conditioning, private bathrooms, and modern amenities. If you're looking for a place that's just 1km or so away from the main historic area, this is a good option to "get away". We enjoyed our daily walks or bike rides over the bridge to this area, which feels like you've left the tourist area and are back in a more typical Vietnamese village (one that is highly dependent on tourism, to be sure). Walk around the little neighborhoods here, too! Simply said, the hotel offers a whole lot of benefits at a comparatively high value. All the staff were highly responsive, hard-working, and welcoming---typical beautiful Vietnamese hospitality! The breakfast was excellent---lots of self-serve buffet options. Perhaps our best use of the hotel was the free bike rentals and free shuttle to a beach club (about a 15-20 min drive?). We ended up using their (basic) bikes for several good self-guided rides around the area (takes some getting used to for navigating the traffic but overall it was safe). The exercise felt good and we got to see quite a lot--helped so much to "get out there" and get some air and sweat flowing! As a memorable bonus, I got a haircut at a nearby barber for about $8 including tip. :)
