Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a base for outdoor adventures, this place strikes the perfect balance. I would absolutely stay here again!

Surrounded by gardens, trees and flowers, Strawberry Valley Inn Mount Shasta is located close to the town centre, with shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities. The room was larger than most hotel rooms, and very well appointed. Separate area with sofa for watching tv, plus nice desk for reading. Good temperature control. Fine shower, comfy bed. Breakfast was more like a bed and breakfast style breakfast in a pretty dining room and a couple of tasty options. I wish every hotel was this!

Very kind hosts, and the room and especially bathroom were exceptionally clean! I found the bed and other accommodations comfortable, but there is little that matters more to me than cleanliness and Evergreen exceeded my expectations in that area. The heater worked well and felt so nice after hiking in the snow. The room was simple but afforded everything I needed for a peaceful, enjoyable stay. And I would've had a stunning picture-window view of Mt. Shasta in the morning if it hadn't fogged over!

This hotel is just a few blocks from historic downtown Dunsmuir. Rooms at The Angler Lodge are equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave. All rooms are non-smoking and include cable TV. Such a cosy, well thought out space, would definitely come back
