We only spent one night at Dar el Kif and we regretted it because we had a great time and the neighbourhood of La Marsa is lovely! The hotel is less than 15 minutes from a large beach, and within easy reach of Sidi Bou Said and Carthage. The hotel premises are wonderful and the rooms very spacious and clean. Hedi was very kind, helpful and makes a killer shakshuka! He also has a very sweet kitten who was a pleasure to play with :) if you want to experience a relaxing and pleasant stay, my partner and I highly recommend Dar el Kif!

It's a very cozy place, comfortable and relaxed. Perfect for a solo traveller or couple who want to feel like they're at home while traveling. The heaters work well for chilly evenings and the eating area is really nice for breakfast before the day. Short walk to the beach and a cheap taxi ride to many tourist sites.

The staff are superb. Many thanks to Thamer at reception for being amazingly helpful in booking a tour for me on a short notice to visit Dougga and Bulla Regia, and also for him and the hotel’s kind gesture on my birthday which was on my first day at that hotel. Also many thanks to Jemal at the ground floor restaurant and to all the staff there for being always kind, professional and very helpful. A memorable stay.
