Located only 2 km from Grandfather and Grandmother Stones, The Spa Garden features an outdoor pool. This resort offers comfortable rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. Great value for money. The rooms are spacious and clean with a balcony, and the bed is comfortable. The swimming pool is the best I’ve seen at this price point. The staff is very friendly and helpful; they assist with laundry, taxi, scooter rental and more. They even went out of their way to drive me to the airport. I can’t recommend it enough for this price! I had a very pleasant stay.

Located in the heart of Ko Phangan, Wonderland Healing Center offers a detox and yoga resort surrounded by lush jungles and mountain views. Third time coming back here. Always learning something new. Yoga classes for all levels. Other amazing workshops as well. This time I want to point out, especially David’s Hatha class, breathwork with Jerome, and workshop with Kira. Alys meditation class is always a must! I’ve tried other yoga hotels, and this is the best and gives you the most bang for your bucks. Its also such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere compared to other yoga centers. You don’t have to be into yoga to be here and there are many beginners as well as intermediates.

Situated just 300 metres from Chaweng Noi Beach, Baan Sawan Samui Resort offers a large swimming pool and a garden. My friend and I loved this unqiue boutique hotel on the hillside above popular beaches. Loved the pools, the comfy beds, big room, bathroom and huge porch, the chic open air bar and restaurant, the gardens, the ambiance, the breakfast and dinner, the delightful concierge welcome of Philippe, the owner and designer, and his staff. Outstanding service. This gem of a hotel is worth a visit to Koh Samui. Skip the beaches and just hang out at Baan Sawan!

Prana Resort Nandana boasts a stunning beachside infinity pool and a second pool surrounded by shaded palms with a swim-up bar, Aqua pool bar. Amazing breakfast, great facilities and nice staff.

The luxurious 5-star W Koh Samui - boasts its own sandy beachfront on Mae Nam Beach, a 5-minute drive from Bo Phut Pier, the Big Buddha Statue and Fisherman's Village. We have been vacationing in Koh Samui for twenty-four years and this was our best stay. W Hotel is charming and lobby pool adds a nice touch, especially for the nightly fire dancers. Our room was surprising large compared to other top Samui hotels and included a private pool and spectacular view of the ocean over the adjacent forest canopy. I cannot begin to praise the staff enough. The buggy drivers were always helpful and during one rain storm they delivered us directly to our car in the parking garage thus avoiding a transfer in the rain in front of the hotel. The driver waited and then guided us out to the access road which was another nice touch. Food, especially the Thai options were delicious and surpassed the dinner we had at a nearby resort that has a lengthy discourse on the high quality of their chef and Thai food on their web site. We had several meals in our pool villa and the service was excellent and it was lovely to enjoy our private dining from our own deck overlooking the beautiful view. We also returned this trip for another excellent Japanese meal at the featured restaurant, Namu. It is not surprising why they continue to win awards after you enjoy their lobster with spicy noodles. Service was never farther than a call away and our requests were frequently handled by Aimee who is not only super-efficient but also charming. She met and exceeded our requests and also provided shopping tips and restaurant recommendations, It was interesting to compare our years of visiting Samui with here more recent experiences. W Hotel provides lovely rooms, great dining experience and an unmatched excellent staff and I would highly recommend staying there.
