The apartment was very clean and well and modernly equiped, with the shower and the kitchen definitely being the highlights for us. My boyfriend being tall and wide shouldered, he loved the space they offered, especially the shower. The host is very friendly and forthcoming (we had a later check-in), a young man that vibed with us easily. The building is close to the thermal aquapark/pools and there were watches for the entrance to the aquapark for every person once we got to the apartment - we paid at the check-out (payment goes per person and per day). The building is also in a quiet area yet still close enough to Bratislava, and in 5ish minutes by car from the settlement called Dunajska Streda, where you can go to a restaurant or a grocery store if you'd like, though the establishment offers you options for ordering take-out if you want to. The A/C is a saving grace during the summer heat, while the balcony offered a great option for drying wet clothes/fabric after being in the aquapark. The building also has an elevator. The personnel who leave the breakfast at the door (in a paper bag, we had fresh hot croissants with jam options and Nutella the first day, rich cold sandwiches the second day) is very quiet, so if you want to sleep in, you totally can.

Very modern place, great location not far from Bratislava with parking (parking is difficult in Bratislava), exactly what we’ve been looking for. Completely equipped with everything you need including dishwasher, toaster, water heater and a Nespresso machine with capsules provided. Reliable wifi and a possibility to use Netflix on tv is a plus (if you have your own account). There is even a robot vacuum cleaner. Bedroom is separated. Elevator is a plus since the apartment is on the first floor. Great host, no problem whatsoever for contact. Welcome drink champagne, chocolate and a big bottle of water is a nice touch. Town of Šamorín is adorable, don’t miss a walk along Danube river near X bionic sport center (entrance is near hotel Kormoran and over the little bridge). Pizza place Francesco has no seating but they have the best pizza I have ever tasted. We will be back some day.

The 5-star Thermia Palace spa hotel is nestled within the wonderful ambience of the Spa Island of Piestany, offering a historic atmosphere and up-to-date facilities like the Irma Health Spa. I wanted an old world spa experience, and this was perfect. This spa has old world charm with modern comfort. Half board included an excellent dining experience. I'm a vegetarian, and often great dining experiences for most fall short for me. Not this time. The vegetarian entrees were innovative and delicious. I just loved the easy-going elegance of taking tea or soaking in the thermal pool. All the pools are relaxing and surprisingly, they are not overcrowded. The spa is on an island which provides a park-like environment. I highly recommend staying here.
