We did not arrive until after 10pm thanks to SJ railway and the bar staff Jorgen and Rasmus were outstanding as they made a chess and meat platter for us.

Situated in Kristinehamn, within 29 km of Storfors Train Station and 42 km of Löfbergs Lila Arena, Sockerslottet Hotell features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as... Unique property with such a warm welcome. The host went out of her way to organise food and a taxi for us in the morning - even though the taxi office was closed. The freshly baked (still warm) bread at breakfast was outstanding. Good WiFi.

Just 100 metres from a small beach at Klarälven river, this B&B is 10 minutes’ walk from central Karlstad. It offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and rooms with a flat-screen TV and fridge. Not the first time I stayed here and once again I had a nice couple of days at this B&B. The staff is welcoming and will help you with everything you need. Everything is well maintained and cleanliness is on top. My room was spacious, good lightning with big windows, comfortable bed and very quiet. A good breakfast in the morning (serve yourself) gets you started and of course you will find something for fika as well. Nearby you can find a little beach and walking patch along the river, public transport, supermarkets and it is just a couple of minutes of walking to the city center. Already looking forward to my next stay at Solakoop B&B.

Guests enjoy free breakfast and private parking at Rasta Grums, which is conveniently located at the intersection of the roads E18 and E45, 25 km west of Karlstad. It was perfect location with restaurant facilities attached. Friendly staff and very clean and tidy.
