The Antigua Casona San Blas is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco with 50 rooms. Everything was perfect, really!

Just 8 minutes drive from the Velasco Astete Airport, the Sonesta Hotel Cusco is less than 1 km from the city centre. All rooms feature a mountain or city view. We liked everything about this hotel. The service and the breakfast deserve 5*. Rooms are good size and clean, bed and pillows are super comfortable. There is hot water always and it was warm enough. There is a heater in the rooms, but we didn’t need it.

This is a great apartment to chill in. It has everything, including an electric heater in the bedroom that I only used 1 night out of 11. The location is great with a big grocery store only a few blocks away. The co-hosts were amazing, serving up a nice breakfast every morning.

The host is a lovely person. She cared for us when we arrived at 5am and we were freezing - she gave us blankets and made us a coca tea while we were waiting for the accommodation. The room was the cleanest one we had in Peru, bathroom had a very good standard, bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere during the breakfast (which was great) was so nice that you could feel like at home. There was also possibility to talk in English with daughters of the host in case of arranging the laundry, baggage storage etc. If I come back to Cusco, I will book it.
