We spent 4 days at Wildlife Planet and we definitely hope to be back one day. Lovely to walk around the area, tranquil place if you want to relax with spacious outdoor areas to do so, great food & very close to the National Park Entrance. Baba and all the guides' passion for wildlife and conservation were heartwarming to observe and admire. They definitely try their best to show you the wild, without being invasive to the wildlife and always respectful. Best wildlife experiences ever 😁! Also, appreciated the ecofriendliness not only in name; packed lunch during tours with no plastic and reusable stuff, refillable water available & encouraged. I hope the whole area remains this sustainable for years to come.

With garden views, Bardiya Eco Safary Homestay is set in Bhurkīā and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. Best homestay ever!!!!!! Mukti and Renuka are the most lovely people, they made our stay just terrific! The local and organic food from the garden was amazing. Mukti is the best safari guide you can ask. We enjoyed every minute in the week we spent there.

Boasting a bar, a garden and garden views, Tiger Tops Karnali Lodge is situated in Bardia National Park. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Amazingly brilliant resort. Loved the fact that the focus is on the forest and wildlife, not the usual luxuries. No wifi in the room and that is really good. The food was just excellent - clean, fresh and delicious. I am vegan and the chef took special care to accommodate that constraint. The lodge manager was very courteous and helpful. The resort itself is small and one feels like one is in the middle of a forest. Its right next to the core zone so not much habitation around. Special mention of Reshmi in Sales/Reservation who was exceptional in coordinating my travel from Kathmandu including the airport pick ups and drop. I am sure i will be back here soon.
