Overlooking the Hardanger Fjord, this traditional hotel offers a sports bar, a summer restaurant and rooms with free WiFi access and a TV. All the staff we met during our stay were incredibly kind and helpful. In our case the lady at the reception made a real differnce for us. By mistake I booked 4 instead of 2 rooms. She helped me to cancel the 2 extra rooms which we didn't need where we formally couldn't cancel it anymore at that point.

Excellent place to stay We wanted easy accessibility to fjord nearby and the location is very good. Coming to the place it had everything from equipped kitchen to hot water and good beds. I was traveling with my older parents and toddlers and they were very comfortable. If you want to visit nearby by spots and fjord this is perfect place to stay. We checked in late night and host was responding to queries very late hours which was such a help for us. We loved the stay a neat and clean, spacious place to stay.

A perfect start to our Norway tour, a gorgeous little cabin that was very comfortable with everything we needed. The beds are up in a loft but that was fine. Loved hearing the water rushing past outside.

This apartment hotel is in central Røldal, 42 km from Odda. A fully equipped kitchen, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private balcony are standard. Wi-Fi and on-site parking are free. Very spacious, clean, full kitchen and beautiful view. Staff was very responsive and accommodating. I really wish we had more time to stay as the room just felt like home and comfortable.. The road to Roldal was closed due to bad weather the original day we were going to stay, so had to change the dates last minute which was given smoothly without penalty. They also held our room the next day in case there was bad weather which was forecasted, but we ended up not staying which was nice to have a backup plan without committing to paying for another night. I kind of was hoping to get snowed in just to have an excuse to stay another night!

Situated 4 km from Røldal Village, overlooking Lake Røldalsvatnet, Hordatun Hotel offers international cuisine and an on-site bar. The apartment was more spacious than I expected and clean. The kicthen was enough equipped and I had everything I needed during my staying. The description and the photos of the studio was exactly as depicted on the site. Although the hotel is situated on the main road, it was quiet and very safe staying there. The best of all was the staff at the reception, so polite, helpful, warm and honest. I had a problem with a very late checkin and helped me with an immediate solution for a smoothy check in, early in the morning! And as if that was not enough, the next day, after my check out, the lady in the reception offered to call from her personal mobile and arranged everything for me to solve a problem with the keys of my rental car. I have no words to thank her for her kindness and help. The compassion and the empathy she treated me have been engraved on my mind as an excellent expression of the norwegian hospitality.
