Surrounded by dunes and just minutes from the island’s widest beach, this welcoming hotel offers the tranquillity and facilities needed for a relaxing holiday or weekend get-away. Stunning location, most beautiful beach to go for morning and evening walks and in the middle of a nature park. Breakfast was excellent as were all the other meals in the restaurant. Rooms are quiet as the hotel is the only one just by the beach.

Hotel De Walvisvaarder lies exactly in the centre of the beautiful Dutch island Terschelling. Perfect location for us. Very pleasant and helpful staff - most spoke very good English. Lovely food in the restaurant, great bar area and comfy longer sofas. Bike hire was a real bonus.

The WestCord Hotel Schylge is located in the village of West-Terschelling, right along the harbor. The stay was very good, better than we were expecting. The breakfast was amazing and the personal was very helpful.

Hotel Buren is a cosy family hotel, only a 5-minute walk from the harbour and the lighthouse. The hotel has a very convenient location for the ferry, village centre, and nature reserve. Everything was perfect. The location, in central West-Terschelling, 5 minutes from the ferry terminal, was ideal. Fabulous restaurants nearby with fish and "vruchten van de zee". Come with, on the ferry, or hire a bike at the hotel.

ID Please note that all guests must have a valid photo ID at check in. AGE RESTICTIONS Guests are requested to inform the property when children are coming along. Exceptionally good value. The hostel sits right on the edge of the West-Terscheling settlement. It is feasible to go on foot to/from the ferry. The view from the large shared bedrooms is onto the wadden sea. You'll be able to see tides come and go no matter the weather. The included breakfast is really good as well.
