I’ve been traveling in Sri Lanka for three weeks, and Crown Regency is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. It’s not far from the bus station, with a market and supermarket nearby. The best part is you don’t need to worry about finding a restaurant—the rooftop restaurant’s food is incredibly delicious, and the breakfast is hearty. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is great, and locals often dine there too. I even met some friendly locals at the restaurant who took me around Badulla. The hotel is in a quiet alley with stunning mountain views, beautiful in both rain and shine. The price is very affordable, yet the service feels like a five-star hotel. Vinishya, in particular, went out of her way to show me a wedding venue hosted at the hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable—I’d say cleaner than many four-star hotels. The air conditioning and fans work perfectly, and the hot water in the bathroom is reliable. The Wi-Fi is a bit unstable, but I managed fine with my phone’s network. I originally planned to stay one night but ended up staying three. Thank you, Crown Regency, for providing such high-quality accommodation for travelers. This is my honest review.

Nilowin Glenanore Guesthouse is situated in a part of Glenanore tea estate close to Haputale. This family-run guesthouse offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The view is amazing. Just stay there an see the sunrise and sunset.

This is such a special place! This is a delightful, family run house with spectacular views in the jungle outside Ella. From the moment we arrived, we were treated as family. We were even invited to a party for our host, Chami's birthday! Nilu and Chami are a lovely, genuine couple, and their daughter, Shakty is such a charming, clever, funny child. The place is very comfortable and the food is delicious. I hope we can return to Nature Woodland some day. Thank you all for a wonderful stay 🙏

The stay with Sanjeeva and his family was amazing, the cabin is spacious, has a work space, its own fridge, the bathroom has a hot shower, there is another section to have breakfast in the morning, the traditional breakfast is delicious, the place is quiet and suitable for resting, in general all their services were impeccable. Right next to Ella Rock Trailhead which we did, nice hike. Recommended! It has its own tuktuk service.

This was an exceptional accommodation on Sri Lanka. Rooms were absolutely clean, host Faiz was absolutely professional and very kind. He was always making sure we had everything. He and his wife provided amazing food. We had breakfast and diner twice. It was delicious, varied and a there was a plenty of it. Faiz provided us all information we needed for the walks around and even helped us to catch a bus to Colombo. From the very first minute to the end, he really provided everything we needed and much more.
