The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. We stayed at Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa for 8 nights and were 100% satisfied. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety - spicy local dishes, continental options, lots of seafood, fruits, and yummy desserts. It was easy to find kid-friendly meals, and the restaurant staff were top-notch. Our cottage was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, with great soundproofing from top neighbors. Housekeeping was fast and flawless special thanks to Thasitha and Viraj for keeping everything spotless. The resort was peaceful and not too crowded. The pool was clean and well-designed for both kids and adults, with a nice bar nearby. The beach was beautiful and perfect for swimming in June. We also loved the kids’ animation. Richie, the animator, kept kids entertained with fun activities, giving parents time to relax. He was friendly, creative, and great to chat with. This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in - clean, cozy, family-friendly, and well-managed. Highly recommended!

Definitely the best and most genuine place to stay in Pasikuda! The room was CLEAN. The WiFi WORKED. The food was GREAT! The people are FRIENDLY & ACCOMODATING. The location QUIET! The beaches are very CLOSE and they even let you have a bicycle to roam around FREE of charge! In Pasikuda everyone looks at you like you're walking money. The only honest people I met was Runi (the owner) and his family, and Robinson the tuktuk driver.

Beautiful resort with amazing location just by the ocean and amazing beach.The hotel quard was always present by the beach, so we could safely keep our stuff there end enjoying the ocen for hours. I appreciate spacious rooms, fast roomservice, great cleanliness and always helpful staff. The food buffet was excellent. Thank you and looking forward to our next stay here. 🙂

Had a wonderful stay at Passi Nature Villa. The property is peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. We tryd a wellness treatment that we wanted to do for a long time, we had been to various places before in finding an Authentic treatment procedure to see the real benefits but we did not find one. After being to Suwa Piyasa at Giman Free Beach Resort we got to know the procedure, the medication, the food and the environment which is conducive to such treatment. It’s a unique and a purpose build facility that can create that kind of environment. It just that feeling of Relaxed atmosphere !! Local fisher folk provides fresh seafood to the Resort, great social responsibility by the Resort . Always fresh sea food is a possibility and Chef is capable of turning out great seafood dishes !! We made a decision to come back for a long stay Ayurveda session !!.
