Impeccably clean, with delicious food and incredibly kind staff. They went above and beyond to solve a problem we had, arranging everything perfectly for the next day. Super organized and attentive. Highly recommended for an exceptional stay! Dinner was excellent, with an exceptional rice & curry and delicious kottu (a local specialty).

The location is great, far from noise. It’s very calm and peaceful. The house is also very clean and spacious. The caretaker, Sadi (I hope I spelled the name correctly), is a super nice guy and always ready to help. He makes staying here even more special. Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here. It is also possible to organize a safari trip. The price seems fair, and the driver will pick you up directly from the house. I was very satisfied with how well it was organized.

From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The owner was incredibly friendly, answered all my questions, and even offered me a welcome tea. The room and bike rental were very reasonably priced. My room was clean and comfortable, and I was even allowed to use the washing machine for free.

The host picked us up from train station when we arrived late from Colombo. We easily discussed anything and he also rented us scooter and booked safari tour for us for reasonable price. The room was nice and breakfast just amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone.

Monaara Leisure is nicely situated in a calm rural area with great views of patty fields. On the other hand, it takes only a few minutes by tuktuk to get to the ticket office for visiting the ancient city. The manager has been extremely helpful and has organized a city tour for us and the transport for our onward journey. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had a nice dinner and a great Sri Lankan breakfast.

I really appreciated how well the air conditioning worked. Dining Delights & Pristine Pool For dinner, we were able to enjoy dishes from the owner's restaurant right on the hotel terrace – it was truly luxurious and delicious. The next morning, breakfast was equally impressive with such a wide variety that we couldn't even try everything, and it was all very tasty. The pool was kept perfectly clean by the staff, who cleared leaves daily. I wish I hadn't been injured so I could've taken a dip! Cleanliness & Comfort Our room was spotless, and it was fantastic not to find any insects inside or on the terrace. Plus, shampoo and soap amenities were provided. My stay was wonderful, and this is definitely the hotel I'll choose on my next visit to Sri Lanka. Thank you!

Probably my favorite place to stay in my entire 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. Eventhough the rooms are nothing out of ordinary, the whole atmosphere of this place is something that makes me say such a bold statement. Also i would like to give kudos for an extraordinarly friendly and helpful staff, and the owner of the place, that has also built this whole complex from earth. I’ve spoke with him on couple occasions, and those conversations will definetely be something to remeber.
