What an amazing experience, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Convenient location right next to the train station and a short walk to the chair lift, makes this hotel an ideal location for a short ski trip from Tokyo. The rooms were large, modern and spacious with lovely traditional details throughout, and great views across the mountains. The Onsen was beautiful and the whole hotel was very clean and exceptionally maintained. After finishing in the Onsen, the complimentary ice cream was a lovely added bonus. Would recommend to anyone visiting Japan for a luxury stay for a short weekend skiing!

Refre Hotel has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere!! They served a delicious and healthy breakfasts and even served made to order omelets. We enjoyed the onsen, and were very close to the ski rental shop just a few minutes walk away. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming!!

It was an amazing hotel close to Niigata station and there are buses just a few steps from Hotel Staff were amazing and kind Room was very big we stayed 7 days first time and then returned back to hotel after visiting Sado island but second time they gave us a tiny room and bathroom was dirty BUT they corrected it and gave us another room which was clean thank you

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Kyukamura Myoko is located in Myoko, 38 km from Zenkoji Temple and 40 km from Nagano Station. The room was very big and super clean. The view from the room was 😍 The food was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant. They served so many beautiful dishes. It exceed our expectations. Everything was more than delicious. We enjoyed the onsen on site. The shared bathroom had even more things that you need. They thought about every detail. The staff was super friendly and helped us with transport information. We will be back for sure!

Featuring 3-star accommodation, APA Hotel Joetsu Myoko-Ekimae is located in Joetsu, 47 km from Ryuoo Ski Park and 31 km from Lake Nojiri. Staying already second time. Love this APA. Small but very very functional rooms. Onsen/vending machines/ restaurant on site and conbini just minutes by walk. Parking is only 500 yen. Extremely friendly staff.

Set in Myoko, 33 km from Zenkoji Temple and 35 km from Nagano Station, Morino Lodge - Myoko offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a restaurant and a bar. The family room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. Good size with tatami floor beds in one room and western beds in the other room. Free breakfast was provided which was perfect before a day of skiing. Loved the common lounge/ dining/ bar area, it was a great place to hang out. The common dry room was convenient for storing ski gear and laundry room was useful too. Staff were amazing- always happy to help. Thank you to Jeff, Miyu and team.
