Super clean and quiet and relaxing hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted us with an urgent matter we had. Will definitely stay here again!

Situated within 36 km of Lake Kawaguchi and 38 km of Fuji-Q Highland, Kitayama Fuji View House provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Fujinomiya. The house was spotlessly clean and the location was simply perfect. We stayed in a traditional Japanese style room with futon bedding, which was both comfortable and cozy it gave us the feeling of experiencing Japan like the locals do. The host was incredibly attentive throughout our stay, always making sure we had everything we needed. He even went out of his way to pick us up from Shin-Fuji Station and kindly drove us back when we checked out. Although the house has an amazing view of Mount Fuji, unfortunately the mountain was hidden by clouds during our visit. Still, the setting was so peaceful and beautiful that we didn’t feel we missed out. We rented bicycles and cycled to the Shiraito Falls, which was absolutely breathtaking. If you enjoy nature and want to spend some quiet time away from the crowds, I highly recommend renting a bike and exploring the area it was one of the highlights of our trip.

The place was amazing and the overall experience was fantastic! The staff, Hatori-san along with his female co-worker whom I forgot the name of (sorry!) was very friendly and always there to assist us with any questions or request. We asked Hatori-san to help us book a taxi to the train station, but all the taxis in the area were busy so he even personally drove us with his own car! Can't imagine anywhere else where we would get this type of service. We were also lucky that there weren't too many other guests at that time so we felt like we had the all the attention ☺️.

Amazing owner Masako made our stay unforgettable in Fuji. The room was cozy and had everything, located on the second floor, bathroom was also good. The house with soul and wonderful details. We were invited to the concert in another building with great sound and atmosphere. Masako is very friendly and interesting lady, with a good knowledge of English. We had wonderful time in this place and would love to return one day!

Everything was relatively new and very well kept. The extra dehumidifier in every room. The crockery was lovely. Large bathroom. Very comfortable.

20 km from Fuji-Q Highland, Garden Shed is a recently renovated property located in Yamanakako and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking on-site. The most beautiful property I've ever stayed in. Truly gorgeous architecture, build quality, comfort, and hospitality. The absolute highlight of my trip. I would come back to Japan just to stay at this property again. Felt like home. Or what home could be.
