The apartment was filled with antique furniture and equipped with everything we could possibly need – and even more! It’s clear that the owners truly care about every single guest. Every detail of the house was worth admiring. We were lucky enough to celebrate a birthday at this stunning villa, and I am deeply grateful for all the thoughtfulness and attention we received – it made the celebration unforgettable! We had never before experienced such care and such a warm, family-like atmosphere. The pool and the entire property of the villa turned out to be even better than we imagined. Breakfast deserves a special mention: fresh products, fresh bread, excellent coffee – everything was top quality. The host was always attentive to our needs; the staff was very understanding with check-in and check-out times, and even helped us with the celebration, doing everything possible to make us feel happy. The wine produced at Pievuccia is definitely worth mentioning. We couldn’t try them all, but the ones we tasted were outstanding. We will surely come back during the red wine season! Naturally, we couldn’t leave without taking a couple of bottles with us. The villa offers everything for relaxation – a ping-pong table, board games, gazebos. And of course, the incredible Luna, the owners lovely dog, made our stay even more joyful. This is truly a rare gem – there are very few places like this. Our only regret is not staying longer. But one thing is certain - we will be back! This is definitely the place I will recommend to my friends and family.

The owner was very accommodating and then some.. They made reservations for our dinner, dropped us off and picked us up. Likewise, with horseback riding. They even pulled our car out of the ditch when our GPS took us down the wrong road. We brought home the honey, lavender and olive oil, all fantastic!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Meublé il Riccio is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Montepulciano, 47 km from Mount Amiata. It is an exquisite hotel. The rooms are just beyond beautiful and appointed perfectly. The lobby is all original from the 1500’s. So if you enjoy history, it’s beyond wonderful. The view from our room was unbelievable- all of the countryside of Montepulciano. The owners, 7th generation of this original residence, are wonderfully kind and caring hosts. Breakfast each morning in the lobby (which is a massive old world room) is homemade each day. It is steps away from the main Piazza is town. As a lover of history, it is one of the most unforgettable places I will have ever stayed.
