The hotel is located at a comfortable walking distance from the popular sights, which means you can get there easily on foot, but it's also quiet enough as it is not in the busiest part of town. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were ready to welcome us although we arrived really early in the morning, and stored our luggage until check in time. The breakfast was nice and the coffee was also very good :)

Set in the historic centre of Volterra, Hotel La Locanda offers classic rooms with free Wi-Fi. The Roman Theatre and Porta Fiorentina Gate are a short walk away. A great spot if your cycle touring with secure outside undercover parking just inside the city gates. Great staff and a breakfast you won't want to leave.

We reached late but she kept in touch throughout and gave details for self check in. Rooms were very spacious and well furnished. Bathrooms were also very spacious. The location is within a five minute walk of the Leaning Tower and other attractions. The breakfast was excellent. Of course, you have to expect a continental breakfast while in Europe.
