Rebuilt and new since the earthquake, we were there just as it reopened. The owner/GM (?) was very present. The parking was extra but easy and we got a nice cool car in the sweltering heat! Sextantio Albergo Diffuso offers unique accommodation in the fortified medieval village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, deep in the Abruzzo hillside, at 1250 metres a.s.l. It was just stunning. I was lucky to find this hotel. Room, Restaurant and People in the reception and restaurant were just perfect. I had a rest there. Hopely come again and stay longer there.
