The room was clean and cozy. We arrived late at night after a long flight, and the hosts waited for us – truly appreciated and not taken for granted.

I was there for 2 days for work but wish I would have stayed more. When I arrived the lady/owner was there waiting. I arrived before check in time. I speak a little Italian and learning it as I go, so I had a conversation with her and she is very pleasant, unlike some other places I visited that were more business oriented. The house is smack in the middle of nature. The surrounding fields were well taken care of, mown and not overgrown. The little roof at the entrance you see in the pictures is a relaxing terrace with a comfortable sitting area. There is individual heating and air conditioning in the room I stayed. Breakfast was way above and beyond any other breakfast I had on my 45 days long trip. WiFi was excellent (saying that we were 2 single guests and a family of 4 people at the time staying there). Everything was very clean and the overall atmosphere very relaxing. You NEED a car to get there, and I mention this because, in my opinion, it would be less likely for a partying crowd to get there. I would highly recommend this place.

Palazzo del Senatore is a wonderful, historic place to stay and is owned by a lovely couple whose ancestors are the original owners of the property. The palace is spotlessly clean and houses beautiful family antiques. The wife/owner Alessandra was so welcoming and helpful during our stay. We slept like kings in the comfortable bed, very quiet bedroom with blackout curtains. Breakfast was superb. We will be back!

Located next to the Pontecorvo-Castrocielo exit of the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway, Hotel Liolà is 4 km outside Castrocielo. We have stayed here many times now and without exception have always found the staff really friendly and helpful. The rooms always clean and very comfortable. The hotel is next to the motorway, but we have never been disturbed by this. The restaurant deserves a visit for the quality and value of the food on offer and the helpful waiting team. We would not hesitate to recommend it.

Once a wool factory, Il Cavalier D'Arpino dates back to the 16th century. It is now a charming hotel with a spacious garden and wonderful views across the valley. The breakfast was delicious. The location was great. The owners, staff were all excellent, everyone was very friendly. Very very clean & beautiful hotel & grounds. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you all
