Set in Iceland’s Westfjords district, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and basic rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Brjánslækur ferry terminal is a 5-minute drive away. Great base to explore the Westfjords. We stayed in a part of the hotel that was completely newly renovated and had a very cosy, modern room. All facilities were cleaned daily, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

This hotel, opened in June 2013, is situated along the coast in Patreksfjordur, a fishing village in Iceland’s Westfjords. It offers an à la carte restaurant with a bar and daily breakfast buffet. Easy to find and right opposite the bay. Lots of parking. Good breakfast. Had a meal one night which was great and nice waiters. Good welcome at reception. A bakery just around the corner which sold rolls and provisions and pieces of pizza too. Most people visited the bird cliffs I expect judging from all the dusty cars. Worth the drive there and last day we visited the famous inland waterfalls at Dynjandi………which were amazing and loos there. Only signposted 2hen nearly there but you get an awesome view of interior and #nowline. Really good.

Location of the place was excellent, short walking distance to the swimming pool and everything else in town.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Good assortment of snacks and drinks. Great collection of vintage furniture in an open welcoming space. For those who see beauty in the ordinary, or in this case, extraordinarily we appreciated everything the vocal performance of the hallway rug to the loon calls outside our window. That said we might suggest some earplugs to drown out the sounds of sweet dreams from your neighbors. Overall unique and charming, we had fun. Absolutely will be staying again.

Beautiful room, with patio looking out onto the valley, river and pond. Nice bed and bathroom. Very nice dinner in restaurant. Included breakfast almost overwhelming. Location convenient for visiting sights.
