Located in Grindavík, 500 metres from Blue Lagoon, Silica Hotel at Blue Lagoon Iceland features a fitness centre, a bar, a shared lounge and a 24-hour front desk. The staff was extremely accommodating pleasant and kind. The facility felt private. The fact that the lagoon itself was fof guests only made for a wonderful lagoon experience. Perfect place to stay to end a vacation, especially being just 20 minutes from the airport.

It didn't look very promising from the outside, but inside everything was perfect. The high-quality interior made a very pleasant impression. I don't know if it was a merit of the high, very soft bed or tiredness, but we slept soundly (and loudly) :-)

Located in Sandgerði village, these basic wooden cottages are a 10-minute drive away from Keflavik Airport. Free WiFi is available. The rooms and facilities were super clean and everything we needed was there. It is also close to the airport so a perfect place to rest before/after travelling.

This hotel is only 100 metres from Keflavík International Airport and 25 minutes’ drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. WiFi and parking are free during your stay. It’s right next to the airport. They start serving breakfast really early which is actually a first for me.

This boutique hotel is next to central Keflavik’s picturesque marina, 3.5 km from Keflavik Airport. Loved the calm energy the property exudes. The staff at the front desk were just lovely and extremely friendly/helpful! Room was immaculate and it was very close to the KEF airport so convenient. Nice touch w the outdoor hot tub as well.
