Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. What charming and lovely hotel. In the middle of nature. Looks like brand new and the decoration is simple and marvelous. Service was attentive and friendly. Long wide windows open to the nature. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. We did the ring road while driving in Iceland and we booked seven places where we stayed. Out of these 7 places I have to say that Berunes was by far the best one. It was an amazing experience and the host is super friendly and helpful. But the reason why we liked Berunes the most was because it was a step back in time. The house where we stayed was built in the 1900s and the furniture is rustic but there are all the facilities needed. We are a family of four and we had two separate rooms and a private bathroom. Just next to the house there is a small church and also a restaurant. The restaurant was closed at the time of our visit, in April, but they will open it in summer. The landscape surrounding the hostel is also amazing. There is a lake in front of the house and the mountain at the back. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and spend some enjoyable time in the middle of nature.

Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. Excellent resort in a beautiful small village in East Iceland. Spacious, very clean rooms with fully equipped kitchen and modern decoration. The resort offers spa facilities. The staff was polite and very friendly, especially Nicol.

Hjartarstaðir Guesthouse mempunyai pemandangan sungai, WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma di Eiðar, 37km dari Gufu Waterfall. We stayed in the apartment and it was lovely and well-appointed. The little patio area in front was so nice since we were blessed with a beautiful day. Sitting outside with a coffee and watching and listening to the birds in the meadow right outside was delightful. We had been in Bakkagerdi earlier in the evening to view the puffins (1 million stars/10 on that experience) and this was the perfect place to spend the night, since it was less than an hour from there but also gave us a little bit of a head start on our clockwise ring road journey for the next day's travels.

Fjalladýrð Guesthouse mempunyai taman, ruang tamu berkongsi, restoran dan bar di Modrudalur. Very nice, warm, and well decorated log cabin style guest house full of amenities. Incredible views, really great restaurant, staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, remote but still near the ring road. Also two very cute dogs living on the property for company. Fantastic place to see northern lights.

Set in a renovated farmhouse, this guest house is located by Lake Lagarfljót in Eglisstadir village. Looked brand new in the room. Well appointed and clean.

Berjaya Hérað Hotel is situated in Egilsstadir, 5 km from Lagarfljot River. It offers a terrace bar and 24-hour room service. All rooms have Wi-Fi, satellite TV and wooden floors. The Greek girl in the reception was really helpful! Clean and comfort room. Great location

Lovely hotel that was recently renovated. The rooms are very nice and clean. Kind and helpful personnel. The location is amazing, you can enjoy the quiet and beauty of Iceland.

Terletak di Neskaupstaður di kawasan Austurland, The Bank Sleeping Guesthouse menawarkan penginapan dengan WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. Very well equipped hostel (washing machine,dryer,coffee machine with coffee 😍). Rooms small (but we were 5) but cosy! There are 2 bathrooms but we were never waiting to use one. The owners even invited us to the pool next door to make up for the lack of more showers. They just opened and really try to make everything perfect. We met the host- she was super nice. If it wouldn’t be so far away from us we would definitely come back. Keep going- you are doing a great job 🫶🏻
