Set in Skjöldólfsstaðir, Hotel Studlagil offers 3-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel features family rooms. At the hotel, all rooms come with a desk. Good breakfast with everything needed. The staff was really nice and they even offered some traditional Icelandic cake at the end! The room was big, clean and tidy. This is really near the Stuðlagil Canyon so I recommend staying here if this is you first or last stop in the day.

The Bank Sleeping Guesthouse in Neskaupstaður features a garden and a shared lounge. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. The room was amazing with very comfy beds. Nice interior in general, warm and welcoming. The baths were also amazing, clean and with lots of facilities. Overall it exceeded all our expectations, it was a very enjoyable stay!

A good location for a relaxing stay in Vopnafjörður, Ásbrandsstadir Cottages is a holiday home surrounded by views of the lake. The most amazing thing is not only you can have a great cabin but also the best view is all around you! The owner is very friendly and kind, it’s very easy to communicate with!
