The view from the rooms and the restaurant were breathtaking. Every aspect of the service was flawless. Our bottom line is that it is difficult to say whether the Isle of Skye is a reason to stay at the Cuillin Hills Hotel, or the Cuillin Hills Hotel is a reason to visit the Isle of Skye.

This property was top notch in every category, Comfort and space, amenities, and the VIEW!!! The location was perfect for us! We were just minutes from the Quirang Walk, Old Man of Storr, and other gorgeous viewpoints on the northern part of the isle. Staffin has two small grocery stores. The Hungry Gull is a popular place for take away or eat in breakfast and lunch. If Portree is on your itinerary, it is only a 30 min drive. The hostess was welcoming, offered helpful tips, and suggested places to visit that we hadn’t been aware of. Don’t hesitate to book this incredible gem!!! If we get the chance to return, we are definitely booking here again.

Heidi was fantastic, the room was perfectly clean and was absolutely beautiful. The fridge, washing machine and stove top were great bonuses, and she added little amenities like hot water bottles and robes and slippers which made the place feel even more cozy. I just wish we could've extended our stay.

Kinloch Lodge Hotel and Restaurant is a family-run former 17th-century hunting lodge, situated at the foot of a long private drive up Kinloch Hill on the shoreline of Loch Na Dal. The property at Kinloch is spectacular! The grounds are gorgeous and the staff is extremely friendly. From the moment we arrived it felt like we were visiting family we immediately relaxed and enjoyed the views of the loch Dinner was brilliant as it was delicious and not drawn out too long Breakfast was perfect The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was immaculate We will be back!

Close to Portree in a bucolic setting at a small working farm, it is a wonderful home-away-from home at the end of the day. It has everything one needs, including snacks, coffee, tea, and milk. The views of mountains outside the large windows were calming and restful. We enjoyed going to sleep with the soft sound of sheep baa-ing next door.
