Situated within 2 acres of gardens, Garvock House Hotel is a historic country house located in Dunfermline. The property features an on-site restaurant and terrace, offering views of the garden. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast was unbelievably good - both the buffet and the cooked to order Scottish breakfast were delicious. The staff serving the breakfast and dinner were super nice, quick and helpful.

My mom and I stayed there for a couple of nights, and our stay was exceptional. We got to meet the owner, who is super nice, always making sure we have everything we need (cleaning of our room, toiletries, towels). Our room was nice, we were able to self check in as we were coming a little later in the evening. The location was perfect, as there was free parking right across the street, grocery store, gas station, Starbucks (for me it's a must haha) very close by. I highly recommend this place, our stay here was amazing. If we ever (hopefully soon) travel back to Scotland, we'll definitely stay there again!

The host was so friendly and helpful, her property was beautiful and she went out of her way to accommodate an extra family member. We were away 9 weeks and this was one of our favourite stays. The breakfast was delicious and the location peaceful.

Neill and Jane are the perfect hosts, in spite of Neill having an affinity with Basil Fawlty-like tendencies (we had a laugh), and treated us to delightful company and relaxed breakfast in a beautiful quiet rural part of St Andrews, away from the bustle of "the Open". A large ground floor room, with dedicated outdoor patio, views to the the fields with resident horses and donkeys. And a gorgeous large comfy bed, large ensuite bathroom, with all facilities provided.
