Just 4 minutes’ walk from San José Beach, this guest house in the Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve offers bright accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Great value and location close to the beach and restaurants. Very quiet, and it was great to have a private terrace. As a perk, the owner offered a free and very varied breakfast. There was also a dry climate garden with labeled plants and their country of origin. Very much enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay there again.

This beautiful boutique hotel, nestled in the hills with stunning views over Playa El Playazo, offers a perfect blend of tranquility and luxury. The staff, especially Julia, were wonderful, providing impeccable service throughout our stay. The highlight was the dinner experience—delicious, healthy dishes beautifully presented in an intimate setting. Our room with a private rooftop and sea view was comfortable and stylish, reminiscent of Santa Monica vibes. With a range of activities like biking, horseback riding, and kayaking, it’s an ideal spot for both relaxation and adventure. We only wished we had stayed longer! Highly recommended.

Everything was better than expected. Lovely facilities: very comfy and modern. The room and bathroom were spotless. The owners Ms Lola and her husband and son are very welcoming and helpful. They gave us useful information about the area. It's good value for money. We certainly recommend it!

The hotel is beautifully designed with gorgeous rooms, most with balconies and sea views, and very comfortable beds. Breakfast is in the cafe on the ground floor which is very popular with locals and has a great outdoor terrace. Maria who runs Cala Arena, her father, Priscilla in the cafe and the rest of the staff are so welcoming and friendly, you really won't want to leave. And San Jose is a lovely little town with great restaurants - our favourite was La Palmera Mercado, very close to the hotel. And don't forget the stunning beaches - Playa de los Genoveses just south is like Spanish playa's must have been in the 1950's. Also fantastic gym in the basement.

Set in the beautiful Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve, Hotel Senderos is located 3 minutes’ walk from Agua Amarga Beach. It features an indoor swimming pool and a sun terrace. Outstanding facility, well-located; very comfortable, very clean and Carlos was extremely helpful! They allowed me to leave my car there while I hiked for four days, and a few days later followed up that all was okay. Outstanding service!

Just 200 metres from the beach, this hotel is situated in the centre of San José in the heart of the Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve. It features bright accommodation with a balcony. Carolina was very friendly and welcoming.
