Nice hotel. Clean - good sized room and bathroom. Quiet. Manager - Jack Ma - is very welcoming and personaly showed me the local delicacies being cooked fresh on the buffet breakfast. Every time I left the hotel someone would check to make sure I was OK and knew here I was going. They offered a map and helped point me in the direction of the metro system.

We really liked this hotel. The room was big and comfortable. The staff was really nice. they did not speak english but had a recorder which would translate from chinese to english. There is a common washing machine so we could do laundry. They also helped us to organize our stay in the park and gave us a map with the itinerary for each day. the hotel is very close to the west entrance of the park, only 6 minutes by taxi.

The staff was exceptional, he helped us a lot in finding the best route in the park for our needs. He also speak English and helped us on our next accommodation late check in. The location is perfect to enter the park through east gate.

Zhangjiajie Wangyi Inn is only a 20-minute drive from Zhangjiajie Airport. Free WiFi access is available in all rooms. A wonderful little place. Super friendly and helpful staff who helped us plan our trip and navigate all the things to do in ZJJ mountains. The whole place had a really cosy feel to it - surprising for somewhere as urban as ZJJ city, but it was such a pleasure. The main area is full of old TVs and radios and other vintage memorabilia, there are comfortable leather sofas, and the breakfast is REALLY GOOD - one of the best I've had in China. We really liked the "mountain chalet" feel of the bedroom too - wooden rafters / beams on the ceiling. It was a fairly simply, cosy room, but that's what we wanted and - importantly - it was exactly as it had been depicted in the photos on booking.com. It felt simple and honest, which was a very welcome experience when visiting a region full of tourists who are often exploited. Overall a really positive experience, made exceptional by Anine at the front desk who - with the help of her trusty translator - helped us plan our itinerary, gave us maps for our walks and even spent a lot of time helping us book tickets! This lovely hotel is located near the east gate of Zhangjiajie National Park, within a 10 minute taxi ride and is very convenient. Housekeeper lucy. Very helpful with planning our trip and booking all relevant tickets in advance The room was spacious, clean and tidy and the price was good. This was the first hotel I've stayed in and I was lucky to be able to find one. In addition, there is even a free laundry service if you need to do laundry during your trip. All in all a great hotel.
