The Heilthermen Resort Bad Waltersdorf is located in the Thermen- & Vulkanland in the East Styrian hill country, Eastern Styria’s hill country, 60 km from Graz. The property gave us a free room upgrade to a suite, which was amazing; beautiful modern room with a huge deck. the hotel-only spa area was amazing and very peaceful.

Not only I was not charged for it, we also had a room much bigger than expected (and that we used to have in our previous stay). With two kids in the room that was amazing! Kids had place to move around even when we were in the room. The staff was always nice and accomodating. This is very mucg appreciated always, but with a 1-year-old that is in the phase of throwing food on the floor, it is appreciated even more! The spa is nice. There are a lot of different options. The food is excellent. The staff is great! There are big bowls with apples at the receptions, and the guests can take an apple from there. I found this small detail very generous and touching. Thanks a lot for our amazing stay. Everyone from our family was happy: kids, us, grandfathers and grandmothers.

The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was relaxed with a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks. The restaurant has a comprehensive menu and a very pleasant environment with a terrace that has a great view. My room was typically Austrian/German; very functional but not too fancy and with plenty of room. Clean and well looked after as was the whole hotel. My special request was acknowledged and honoured. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The family-run 4-star Naturhotel Bauernhofer is set in a quiet location on 1,132 metres above sea level on the Brandlucken, amidst the Almenland Nature Park. The property was amazing and the staff went above and beyond. The Pools and saunas were great and we had fantastic massages. The food was incredible.

The Mönichwalderhof enjoys a scenic location in Mönichwald in Eastern Styria. It offers a spa area with an indoor pool, and a large garden with a children’s playground. The food was excellent even for a someone with celiac. Super friendly staff! Clean big room in a beautiful village in the forest.
