It is such an amazing experience, different from anywhere else in the world I have stayed. The place is set on the beach and on the fringes of Jomani Forest so the monkeys come during the day and you can watch them up in the trees. Camels, donkeys and goats are around but not intrusive, plus cats, a dog called Dudu and amazing bird and lizards. You can watch the villagers walk past on the beach singing or going fishing, and in the evening playing football (very serious and they warm up with exercises first), The staff are amazing and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food !!! they have an incredible cook! At dusk they come to ask if you want your room sprayed against mosquitoes and hand you a little rolled up rhyme wishing you well and give you two biscuits to have with your late night tea or coffee. I have never been in such a peaceful haven in Nature... I could have stayed forever!

Location was ideal being walking distance from the beach and restaurants/grocery. The staff was super pleasant and breakfast was exceptional every day. We had dinner one one of the nights and it was great also.

I loved my whole experience in Zanzibar but the cherry on top of my visit was my accommodation at both Kisiwa House in Stone Town and Kisiwa On The Beach. After a full day of exploring and adventure or even a long walk on the beach, it felt easy, comfortable and unimaginably beautiful to come “home” to rest. The staff are sweet, helpful and attentive (a lens into the Zanzibar Karibu culture). Our room was clean and always set up for us (morning and evening). We had the most beautiful stay in the most beautiful place I’ve gotten the privilege to explore. I’ll for sure be back and will be singing the highest praises.

Stunning place, 2 steps from the beach, we loved everything! Kimulimuli Ayurveda Spa retreat is not only a place, it’s an experience. Very friendly welcoming staff, big rooms, tastefully decorated, the best breakfast we had in Tanzania, very unique themed restaurant with super delicious food and absolutely amazing ayurveda spa. Definitely recommended us must see place when in Zanzibar snd Tanzania, and surely we will be back here next year.

I absolutely love this location, it is perfect, at high tide the stairs, leading to the beach from the property are covered in water, at low tide, you have super soft sand to walk to the sea which is just a few metres away. Great swimming location. And everything that you need is in the apartment including an ice cold fridge. If you don’t feel like cooking , there is a restaurant next door with good value food and drinks. There are many other restaurants further on the beach if you feel like walking 15 minutes on the beach, including a very nice pizza place. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here for the whole Zanzibar time and make this my base in the future. If it’s still available, just book it
