The view from our room was exceptional, our host was super helpful and lovely to us. Breakfast was very tasty and filling, with plenty of options. We had a great stay, and would definitely stay again.

We loved everything. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a very comfortable bed and a fantastic small terrace offering a wonderful view that was a joy to see in the morning. Trevor has been a fantastic host, and we loved chatting with him. He made us feel so welcome that we decided to extend our stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone, and when I return to Akaroa next time, I will undoubtedly book here.

Absolutely stunning views. So nice to watch the sun set over the bay from the balcony. Good facilities for cooking and coffee. Comfy, clean and beautiful. Lots of great books. Our hosts Nicky and Fran did everything possible to make our stay special, from duck eggs to homemade chocolate delivery! Cannot rate this place highly enough.
