Levis welcomed us really lovely and offered us a great stay with a delicious breakfast with pancakes, French toasts, eggs, avocado and fruits. Also the typical Chai was fabulous. The rooms were clean, with a Moskito net, furnished solid and with love. The kitchen is available to use by the guests and the shower has warm water. Levis was devoted to providing us with the best service. He was always available but gave us the private space we needed. One of the activities they offer is to visit the Maasai Mara village, which is close to the house. The other one is a nature walk, showing the sourounding farming and it's a big recommendation. If you want Levis could be also your excellent private tour guide for the national park close by. All in all Kanunka house is a place where you can feel home.

It was our second visit to Mara NP, but our first time sleeping within these grounds. Waking up with a river view and having zebras or hyenas or giraffes looking right across is mesmerising. The tent was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for three persons. Esmo was assigned to take care of us at meal times and he did a wonderful job. The meals were freshly prepared and very good. It was like a set menu and there was always a vegeterian option. The Masai also made us feel safe in the evening while escorting us.

Located 4 km from the Sekenani Main Gate, AA Lodge Maasai Mara is 10 minutes' drive away from Siana Springs Air strip and 1-hour flight away from Nairobi.

From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed by Valery and her amazing team. We stayed in a beautifully designed, cozy room (everything inside was chosen with care and filled with comfort) The atmosphere at Emboo is magical: peaceful nature, evenings around the fire on soft poufs under the stars, delicious meals, and a deep connection to the nature. We would especially like to thank: Felix, our safari guide — calm, deeply experienced, and one of the best in his field. He made every game drive feel personal and insightful. Tobin, the photographer, full of passion and soul. Every photo he took captured something deeper than just an image. Rhoda, who looked after us during every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with incredible kindness and attention. And Pedro, who always brought a smile, kindness, and genuine care. he made us feel truly welcomed. The little things made, like hot water bottles waiting in our room at night and even placed in the safari jeep for those chilly early drives. These thoughtful touches left a lasting impression. The entire team at Emboo is united by true hospitality, care for nature, and love for what they do. We’re already home, but our hearts are still with you at Emboo. The property is situated very near to the Sekeneni Gate and almost in the wilderness. We could hear Hyena howling and saw a number of zebras and warthogs near the property. The tents are large, simple but had everything we needed starting from hot water, toiletries, water, good bed. But the best part of the stay was the excellent staff especially Shoila who helped a lot.

Surroundings were very nice, staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean and well laid out. Food was wholesome and tasty. Game drives are fun and great to see so many animals
