Great rooms. We had both Japanese dinner and breakfast... what a treat!! The staff was wonderful as well. From the women's onsen you can see a cherry tree, and it happened to be in bloom! It was a truly extraordinary experience and worth the money.

The Onsen was wonderful and in a great location we had a great breakfast with lots of options. Dinner was a beautiful traditional Japanese cuisine.

The hotel, staff, and onsen were all amazing. The hotel is located right next to the ski slope, and the breakfast had a massive variety. Onsen were clean and well maintained. Overall, it's an amazing hotel we will be back.

It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Brilliant location only a few minutes walk from Sakurambo Higashine train station. Staff was very friendly despite limited English. I like that they even offered facial mask (the cosmetic kind, not the covid kind) if you want. I also managed to go to the female onsen which was an absolutely awesome first time experience. Breakfast was nice, not a lot of choices but sufficient for a light meal.

Renovated in 2017, Meitoya Sou offers a modern-style ryokan with natural hot spring baths. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site.
