The hotel is located 3min car ride away from the Kawaguchiko station. You can call the hotel in advance to book a van for pick up and drop-off at the station. From there, the service is excellent, their staff members are so considerate and the hotel is top notch comfort. We got their special Japanese shiatsu massage for 30min and it saved us from all the built up pain from walking for two weeks. Their outdoor onsen is so cute, and public baths are just the right temperature. They also have a foot spa with a view on Mount Fuji! Oh and they have SO MUCH FLOOR SPACE!! We had the most space at Konansou than any other hotel we've stayed at. The amenities provided are plentiful and of good quality. The kaiseki had a lot of food varieties and it was hands-down the best kaiseki we tried. They make the bed for you and their blankets are soooo soft and fuwa fuwa!! It was a great experience and worth every penny.

The hotel is a boutique hotel so not many rooms. The location is at residential area so it’s very quiet, however still close to convenient stores (7Eleven & Family Mart).

20 km from Fuji-Q Highland, Garden Shed is a recently renovated property located in Yamanakako and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking on-site.

We could not ask for a better place to stay while we were visiting Mount Fuji. The shed itself is a masterpiece and it is in a beautiful and quite area. Of course the '64 Shelby with no. 75 in the living room / garage is an absolute plus to the whole experience, but the favourite part of our stay was how our friendly host, Yoshi welcomed us and shared the whole story behind this amazing place. We hope to get back soon to visit again!

Everything here was really nice; The bed was fluffy and comfy, it was big enough, it had a refrigerator, TV, heater, and really good WIFI, nice bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and hot shower and bidet toilet, and the Onsen, the hotsprings/public bath was just amazing - There was an indoor and outdoor version, the outdoor onsen was beautiful; There were 2 hot pots and you could stay more than an hour there with the cold air and you can even see the moon from the hot pots. The breakfast was also really good: There were sausages, varieties of Japanese chicken, meat, salads, dishes, sushi rice, siomai and siopaos, waffles, pineapples, cereals, spaghetti, beef curry, japanese rice, soup, tea, coffee, orange and apple juice and it had a beautiful view of Mt Fuji as you dine. The staff were also really nice and friendly and very pleasant; They really got good people in this hotel. The location is perfect if you have a car, if you don't; It's still not so bad if you don't mind walking: It's around 10-15 minutes walk to Fuji Q Highland and that's where you can find the Lawson, really nice Yakinikus (Like korean beef restaurants) and Big Echo (For Karaoke - around 1200 yen for 1:30 hours before 6PM). If you don't like walking; The hotel also offers a free shuttle to Fuji Q Highland station or Kawaguchiko station. Overall will highly recommend! Would love to stay here again someday in the future!

The hotel is overlooking the lake however, it is a bit far from the station. Luckily, the hotel offers a shuttle bus in the afternoon from the station. Breakfast and dinner are buffet but with a huge selection of foods, some of which are really delicious. The onsen bath on the first is spacious and offers an outdoor pool too. The manga library is really nice and includes a huge selection of English books too. It saved us from boredom as the weather was terrible and it was impossible to see Mount Fuji.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Fujikawaguchiko, Fuji View Hotel is a ryokan surrounded by views of the garden.

The owner was so nice! The food was excellent! We had the best time. We arrived completely drenched from rain and the owner offered to dry our things and was taking care of our shoes and everything the whole time and he speaks great English. The surroundings is so peaceful.
