We spent one afternoon and overnight stay at Rio Sabbioso on our 4 day-long sea and road journey from Volos, Greece to Reading, England. Roberta, the owner, was waiting for us even if we arrived in the early afternoon ahead of scheduled check-in time. The overall setting, landscape, lush green surroundings and building premises are amazing. We were accommodated in a huge, comfy bedroom with modern bathroom, large lounge as common area beautifully renovated. The super quiet Dozza village lies only 15 min. driving off the busy Ancona-Bologna highway. For dinner, Roberta advised us the Via Vai restaurant in Dozza village which we really enjoyed. Having to leave the next morning at 4 am on our way to France, Roberta kindly organised two breakfast packs which we enjoyed eating 5 hours later on the slopes of the snow-capped Santo Gottardo mountain in Switzerland.

Set just 33 km from Bologna Fair, B&B Magic provides accommodation in Dozza with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a lift.

On our trip to Apulia, we stayed one night at Tenute Torte Diana with two families, 8 people in total. We were so lucky to find such a wonderful place. The hotel is partly located in a 600-year-old building, beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated. The restaurant on site was a real highlight – the pizza was excellent, and the daily special, wild boar roast with vegetables, was simply amazing. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back!
