For us (a family with an 8-year-old), Sunny 2 was a perfect base to explore the area around Komotini and the beaches between Maroneia and Arogi by car. We stayed for a week in July 2025.

We especially loved: * the scenic daily drives to the beaches and back * the sound of night crickets and morning roosters from the neighbors’ yards * the walk under the stars on our way back from dinner at the local tavern * the choir concert in the village of Iasmos * discovering a hidden gem of a tavern with no reviews on Google Maps in the small harbor of Agios Haralambos * the owners’ super friendly cat and tiny dog who came to check on us every morning 
We’ll definitely keep this place close to our hearts and hope to return one day!

The lady at the reception was very polite and friendly and everyone who worked there was great and helped us a lot. The rooms were clean, quiet and peaceful.

In my opinion I think this hotel should.have been a 4 Star!! Perfect place ,parking very friendly staff,very clean rich breakfast !!! In a few words JUST PERFECT!!
