Our host is reconstructing this gem of chateux with love and care and also arranged everything we needed (even a dinner on Sunday in a nearby restaurant). The interiors are done very nicely, rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and suited for people with mobility issues. Nights are tranquil. Beware- Sundays and Mondays the majority of restaurants is closed in France. Also every day between 14.00- 19.00 it is hard to get meals in France.

This gem of a hotel was reminiscent of the Logis style of small French family run hotels of old. No fuss, no frills, just good solid service with a smile and a warm welcome. It was immaculately clean and comfortable, well organised, provided the option of an evening meal at the onsite restaurant (which was good and tasty, if a little pricy) and an excellent generous and varied breakfast with a range of local products. Wifi was fast and reliable. Parking safe and easy, adjacent to the rooms. It was very good value for money.

This is my second visit and I was once again treated like family as was Gus my dog. I love everything about the lodging and the guys running the show. My evening meal was amazing. When I didn’t have time for breakfast I was offered a lovely lunch for my journey. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thanks so much for making me feel at home. I will see you again very soon.
