What a pleasant surprise! Modern and elegant hotel. We were made most welcome by multi-lingual Maria at reception, and later greeted by the owner. Had pre-dinner drinks at the bar, then 12 year old brandy after dinner. Excellent buffet breakfast for only 6€. Very quiet location, great view from the room and comfy beds. Sparkling bathroom. Great value for money.

Beautifully renovated stone farmhouse with an extensive and fascinating history. Exceptionally decorated home with traditional family heirlooms and countless thoughtful modern touches. Caraxolas is a stunning country home based in a small village a short drive to Lugo. The home is beautifully designed with stone and wood features and soft furnishings. It contains everything for a confortable stay. The hosts Ivan and Isabel were incredibly welcoming, friendly, helpful and prepared a delicious breakfast. We loved the property.

Even though we arrived late, he kindly explained and made us feel comfortable. I was able to sleep warmly even in winter. It has many rooms and has a living room, kitchen and laundry room.

Incredible special hotel in a beautiful location. Staff were outstanding and food and service memorable. Beautiful room with the most comfortable bed surrounded by tasteful decor and furnishings. A really special place deserves five stars !We would love to come back and would highly recommend.
